I'm a guy in my twenties working my way through seminary and seeing what the Lord has for me in vocational ministry. I love teaching, discipleship, and talking about Jesus.
I currently work part-time for Friends of Israel and serve as a Camp Crew Coordinator at Word of Life Island. I love what God is doing through both of these organizations and I am happy that I can be a part of it.
In March of 2021, we began work on this podcast. Since then, this has been a great opportunity for me to learn and help others grow in their knowledge and application of the Bible.
I was raised by two loving parents in my grandfather's (Scott Moffat's) church. After a Sunday night AWANA club, I realized that I didn't know whether I was going to heaven or not. I went home, talked to my dad, and he helped me understand what it meant to believe in Jesus as I kneeled by my bunkbed. I understood that I had to put my faith in Jesus and what He did for me.
Over the next few years, I lived like any other kid, living for myself and not really looking to godly pursuits. I attended a camp in North Carolina, called the Wilds, and felt the Lord calling me to full-time, vocational ministry. I rededicated my life to the Lord that day and made commitment to be more serious about pursuing Jesus. Since then, there have been many bumps in the road, but God has kept me in His grasp.
I thank God for the people He has put in my life that have encourage and trained me. I praise Him for the opportunities He has provided, especially this opportunity to be involved in The Book Podcast. Thank you so much for partnering with us and caring enough to read my testimony.
